Section 33. Persons convicted of certain offences not to be granted licence

If the holder of a licence under the provisions of this Ordinance is convicted of using firearms for the purpose of signalling smuggling vessels, or of unlawfully offering or doing violence to any person by means of firearms, the Licensing Authority shall be empowered, with the approval of the Governor, to revoke the licence of, and in addition to refuse to issue a licence to, any person so convicted, and the certificate of a Magistrate or of the Registrar of the High Court shall be sufficient proof of such conviction.
