Articulo 20. Tipos de Armas de Defensa Personal y Protección de Objetivos

De conformidad con el artículo 11 de la Ley, se consideran armas de defensa personal, las siguientes:
Revólver desde el calibre .22 hasta el calibre .45
Pistolas desde el calibre .22 hasta el calibre .45, siempre y cuando no sean automáticas.
Se consideran armas para protección de objetivos, las siguientes:
Los revólveres y las pistolas con características similares a las de defensa personal.
Escopetas desde el calibre 12, 16 y 20
Fusiles no automáticos y carabinas desde el calibre .17 hasta el calibre 7.62 mm. y escopetas hasta el calibre 410 para fines de protección de objetivos en áreas rurales.

Article 20. Types of Firearms for Personal Defence and Protection Goals

In accordance with Article 11 of the Act, the following are considered to be firearms for personal defence:

- Revolvers, from calibre .22 to calibre .45
- Pistols, from calibre .22 to calibre .45, as long as they are not automatic

The following are considered to be firearms for protection goals:

- Revolvers and pistols with characteristics similar to those for personal defence
- Shotguns in 12, 16 and 20 bore
- Non-automatic rifles and carbines from calibre .17 to calibre 7.62 and shotguns up to .410 bore for protection goals in rural areas.
