Artículo 101. Exportación ilegal de armas de fuego

Comete el delito de exportación ilegal de armas de fuego, quien sin tener autorización previa de exportación de la DIGECAM, exporte armas del territorio nacional. El responsable de este delito será sancionado de cinco (5) a ocho (8) años de prisión y comiso de las armas.

La pena será de seis (6) a diez (10) años de prisión y comiso de las armas, si éstas son de las clasificadas en esta Ley como armas de fuego bélicas o de uso exclusivo del Ejército de Guatemala…explosivos, armas químicas, biológicas, atómicas, trampas y armas experimentales.

Article 101. Illegal Export of Firearms

Those who illegally export firearms out of the country without prior authorisation from DIGECAM commit the offence of unlawfully exporting firearms from the national territory. Those responsible for this crime shall be punished with a prison sentence of five (5) to eight (8) years and confiscation of firearms.

If the firearms are classified under this Act as military weapons or for the exclusive use of the Army of Guatemala…explosives; chemical, biological and nuclear weapons; traps and experimental firearms, the penalty is six (6) to ten (10) years imprisonment and confiscation of firearms,.
