Artículo 23. Permiso especial para compra de munición

Las personas individuales o jurídicas que necesiten mayor cantidad de municiones de las reguladas en la ley, para obtener el permiso especial de la DIGECAM deberán cumplir los requisitos siguientes:

a) Formulario de solicitud emitido por DIGECAM.
b) Fotocopia legalizada del documento de identificación personal, reconocido por la ley
c) Fotocopia de la tarjeta de tenencia emitida por DIGECAM
d) Documentos que justifiquen y demuestren la situación que motiva dicha solicitud.

La DIGECAM autorizará la cantidad de munición que considere conveniente en base a la justificación del requirente. En caso se autorice la compra de una cantidad de munición la DIGECAM realizará la anotación en el sistema informático y emitirá el documento de autorización, el cual debe ser presentado ante la empresa de compra venta de armas y municiones para cumplir con el procedimiento establecido de compra.

Article 23. Special Permit for Purchasing Ammunition

Individuals or legal persons who need a larger amount of ammunition than that regulated by law must obtain a special permit from DIGECAM and meet the following requirements:

a) Application form issued by DIGECAM.
b) A certified photocopy of a personal identification document that is recognised by law.
c) A photocopy of the possession licence issued by DIGECAM.
d) Documents that justify the application.

DIGECAM shall authorise the amount of ammunition that it deems appropriate. In cases where the sale of a quantity of ammunition is approved, DIGECAM shall enter this information into its computer system and issue the authorisation document. The latter must be presented before the company that sells firearms and ammunition in order to comply with established purchasing procedures.
