Articulo 24. Autorización

El Ministerio de Defensa autorizará el transporte o traslado interno a personas jurídicas bolivianas y extranjeras que fabriquen o comercialicen armas de fuego, otras armas, municiones, explosivos y otros artefactos y materiales relacionados, así como a usuarios de explosivos.

La autorización de transporte o traslado interno, emitida por el Ministerio de Defensa, establecerá la pertinencia de asignar escolta militar.

Supreme Decree No. 2175, Regulation of the Act No. 400 on the Control of Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives and other Related Materials

Article 24. Authorisation

The Ministry of Defence shall authorise the internal transport or transfer to Bolivian or foreign legal persons who manufacture or trade in firearms, other weapons, ammunition, explosives and other related items and material, as well as users of explosives.

The authorisation for an internal transport or transfer, issued by the Ministry of Defence, shall assess the need to have military security staff escorting the latter.
