Ninguna persona podrá portar armas de fuego fuera del bien raíz declarado en su inscripción, correspondiente a su residencia, su sitio de trabajo o lugar que se pretende proteger, sin la autorización de las Autoridades Fiscalizadoras, las que podrán otorgarlo en casos calificados y en virtud de una resolución fundada, de acuerdo con los requisitos y modalidades que establezca la Dirección General de Movilización Nacional.

Article 138. Carrying of Firearms for Personal Defence

No individual may carry firearms outside the authorised premises declared in his registration, corresponding to his residence, working place or site to be protected, without the authorisation of the Control Authorities, which may grant this in qualified circumstances and for a valid reason, in accordance with requirements and modalities established by the General Directorate of National Mobilisation.
