Se prohíbe a los talleres de armería, así como a los armeros idóneos, profesionalmente dedicados a la reparación y mantenimiento de armas de fuego, la instalación de piezas y/o la realización de modificaciones a cualquier arma de fuego, de manera que sus mecanismos o características técnicas resulten alteradas para que puedan disparar de forma automática mediante ráfagas o ametrallamiento o emplearse para disparar o adosarse a elementos de guerra o para realizar disparos de manera silenciosa.

Article 79. Prohibited Modifications

Repair shops [armouries], as well as qualified armourers [gunsmiths], are prohibited from being professionally engaged in the repair and maintenance of firearms, installation of parts and / or to modify any firearm, so as to alter its mechanisms or technical characteristics, making it capable of discharging in automatic mode, through bursts or machine-gun fire, or to attach war devices or silencers.
