Artículo 72. Autorizaciones Materiales de Uso Bélico

Las personas naturales o jurídicas, que por sus actividades industriales o mineras requieran emplear armas o elementos definidos como material de uso bélico, deberán solicitar un permiso especial a la Dirección General, la que podrá autorizar su uso mediante Resolución, previo estudio de los antecedentes.

En todo caso, este armamento y su munición deberá ser almacenado en condiciones de seguridad en el recinto que señale la Resolución emitida por la Dirección General.

Article 72. Authorisations for Weapons of War

Individuals or legal persons who, due to their industrial or mining activities, require the use of firearms or other products defined as war materials, shall request a special permit to the General Directorate, which may authorise their use through a Resolution, upon a careful background check.

In all cases, such weapons and ammunition shall be stored in secure conditions in the premises listed in the Resolution issued by the General Directorate.
