Artículo 9 (Delito de tráfico interno, fabricación ilegal de armas de fuego, municiones, explosivos y otros materiales relacionados) - El que de cualquier modo adquiriere o recibiere a título oneroso o gratuito, arrendare, distribuyere, diere o tuviere en depósito, fabricare, armare, ensamblare, adulterare o vendiere armas de fuego, municiones, explosivos y otros materiales relacionados, sin autorización o contraviniendo las normas legales, será castigado con una pena de seis meses de prisión a seis años de penitenciaría.

Si el delito hubiera sido cometido por quien integra una organización criminal, la pena será aumentada en un tercio.

Penalties

Article 9 (Penalties for internal trafficking, illegal manufacture of firearms, ammunition, explosives and other related materials) - The person who, in any way, acquires or receives, for payment or free of charge, lends, distributes, gives or keeps in storage; fabricates, arms, assembles or sells firearms, ammunition, explosives and other related materials without authorisation or in violation of legal norms, shall be punished with imprisonment of between six months and six years.

The penalty shall be increased by one third for those who are members of criminal organisations.
