- i fucili e le carabine che impiegano munizioni a percussione anulare, purche' non a funzionamento automatico;

- le pistole a funzionamento semiautomatico

Porto d'armi: tipi di licenze

Licenza di porto d'arma per difesa personale
Rilasciata dal prefetto se arma corta e dalla questura se arma lunga. Va rinnovata ogni anno. Dà diritto a portare l'arma montata e carica - quindi pronta all'uso - sempre con sé al di fuori della propria abitazione

Licenza di porto di fucile a uso caccia
Rilasciata dal questore, va rinnovata ogni cinque anni e non più ogni sei dopo l'ultima modifica del decreto legislativo 104/2018

Licenza di porto di arma lunga per tiro a volo
Rilasciata dal questore, va rinnovata ogni cinque anni ogni cinque anni e non più ogni sei dopo l'ultima modifica del decreto legislativo 104/2018

Nulla osta all'acquisto e detenzione armi
Rilasciato dal questore, dà diritto ad acquistare un'arma e le munizioni entro 30 giorni dal rilascio

Chi ha ha una licenza di porto d'armi può acquistare in una qualsiasi armeria:
- 3 armi comuni da sparo
- 12 armi sportive
- Illimitati fucili da caccia

Certificazione medica
Il medico di fiducia rilascia certificato anamnestico. L'Asl della provincia di residenza o un ufficio medico legale di una struttura militare certifica l'idoenità psico-fisica al maneggio delle armi

Il maneggio
Il richiedente deve frequentare un corso teorico e pratico in una sezione del tiro a segno nazionale per ottenere l'idoenità al maneggio delle armi

Presentazione richiesta
Il richiedente consegna la documentazione al commissariato della zona di residenza o alla stazione dei Carabinieri più vicina

Il rilascio
Da quando viene presentata la domanda la prefettura ha 120 giorni per respingere o accogliere la domanda, mentre la questura ne ha 90

Licenze – Facoltà - Costo (per 5 anni)
Difesa personale - Dà diritto al porto (arma montata e carica) di armi corti o lunghe al di fuori della propria abitazione - € 1300 circa
Tiro a volo - Dà diritto al trasporto (arma smontata e scarica) dal domicilio al campo da tiro/poligono e al porto in questi ultimi - € 200 circa
Caccia - Dà diritto al trasporto del fucile fino all'ambito territoriale di caccia e al porto nello stesso A.T.C - € 1000 circa

Weapons: types of licences
1) Licence to carry a weapon for personal defence
Issued by the prefect if a short weapon and by the police if a long weapon. It must be renewed every year. It gives the right to carry the weapon mounted and loaded - and therefore ready for use - always with you outside your home

2) Hunting rifle licence
Issued by the quaestor, it must be renewed every five years and no longer every six after the latest change in Legislative Decree 104/2018

3) License to carry a long firearm for target shooting
Issued by the quaestor, must be renewed every five years and no longer every six after the latest change in Legislative Decree 104/2018

4) Authorisation for the purchase and possession of weapons [nulla osta]
Issued by the police commissioner, entitles the holder to purchase a firearm and ammunition within 30 days of issuance

- 3 common firearms
- 12 sporting arms
- Unlimited shotguns

The gun permit: how to get the licence

Medical Certificate
The medical officer issues a medical history certificate. The Asl of the province of residence or a medical-legal office of a military structure certifies the psycho-physical fitness to handle weapons.

Fitness to handling weapons
The applicant must attend a theoretical and practical course in a section of the national shooting range to obtain the qualification for the handling of arms

Request submission
The applicant delivers the documentation to the police station in the area of residence or to the nearest Carabinieri station

The release
From the moment the application is submitted, the prefecture has 120 days to reject or accept the application, while the police have 90 days.

Licence - Permission - Cost (for 5 years)
Personal defence - Gives the right to carry (mounted and loaded) short or long weapons outside the home - € 1300 approx.
Sporting - Entitled the user to transport a weapon (disassembled and unloaded) from home to the shooting range/polygon and to the port in the latter - € 200 approx.
Hunting - Entitles the user to transport the rifle to the hunting area and carry it in the same A.T.C. - € 1000 approx.
