WATERTOWN, New York — A St. Lawrence County man faces federal firearms charges after a raid on his home Thursday evening.
Federal, state and local police agencies searched 845 Stone Church Road, the home of 38 year old William M. Graham.
Seized were about 40 firearms, including a fully automatic "assault" rifle, AK47 assault rifles, a derringer revolver and three de-milled hand grenades.

Thunder Bay-Rainy River MP John Rafferty confirmed in an interview that "at the earliest" possible opportunity he would introduce a private member's bill in the House of Commons calling for the end of the long-gun registry.

LOS ANGELES — The man arrested at Los Angeles International Airport with a trunk full of guns and nearly 1,000 rounds of ammunition said Saturday that he is a law-abiding weapons enthusiast who had no idea he might be breaking the law.
A day after he was arrested for suspicion of felony transportation of an assault rifle, Phillip Dominguez said he's confident he'll be exonerated.
