WASAGA BEACH, Ontario — A 10-year-old boy from the Wasaga Beach area was in hospital Monday with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The boy found a .22-calibre rifle while doing his farm chores at around 7:30 a.m. Monday, police said. When his 13-year-old brother tried to take the firearm away, it discharged, shooting the 10-year-old in the abdomen. JOHANNESBURG — A Boksburg man is to appear in court after his nephew aged 11 killed himself with his firearm. Police spokesperson Sergeant Zethini Dlamini said the boy took a 9mm Norinco pistol from under his uncle's bed and shot himself.
