Less than a month after claiming their new Firearms Registration system was on track for its October 1st start date the Canadian Government has announced a 60 day delay. This is the fourth delay since the legislation was passed through Parliament in 1995.
In a statement issued less than 10 days before the scheduled start date and on the eve of a planned protest rally against the registration proposals, Justice Minister Anne McLellan announced that more time was needed... (GunPolicy.org)
