TOKYO — representatives from 21 countries as well as from the international criminal police organization (interpol) started three-day talks in Tokyo on Monday to curb proliferation of small arms. At the meeting of experts, sponsored by the foreign ministry, participants will exchange views on ways to prevent illegal trading in small arms such as pistols and on methods to collect weapons from regions where warfare has ended, ministry officials said.
