WASHINGTON — Families of two people killed by snipers in the Washington, DC area in October announced Thursday that they are suing the manufacturer of the assault rifle used in the attacks and the owners of the gun shop where the alleged snipers obtained the weapon. The suit, filed today in Pierce County, Washington, is being spearheaded and financed by the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, a DC-based gun control group.
