Suicidal Gunman Survived Police Fusillade, Court Told

A suicidal gun club member who was shot while pointing a handgun at police marksmen was today jailed for two-and-a-half years after admitting firearms charges.
David Thynne wanted the officers to kill him after a drunken row with his mistress but survived when he was hit by just two rounds of a seven-shot volley fired by police, Birmingham Crown Court heard.
