PA Senate Approves Firearms Bill

HARRISBURG — The state Senate yesterday approved a mixed-bag bill on gun control that would require dealers to sell trigger locks with firearms but also prevent Philadelphia and other cities and school districts from suing gun manufacturers.
The bill, approved 42-7, would not require that the trigger locks be used. The measure still would require a final endorsement in the state House of Representatives.
