The Guardia Civil and the Spanish customs authorities have seized a shipment of 809 firearms which were bound for the USA at the port of Algeciras in the province of Cádiz (Andalucía). The weapons confiscated on 4th August were 737 assault rifles and 72 grenade launchers made in Switzerland, and the shipment which arrived from Ghana is now under investigation by the authorities in Algeciras.
