A simple gesture of gratitude from police has taken on a deeper meaning for the Toowoomba-based secretary of the Shooter's Union of Queensland.
Rob Harrold said the certificate of appreciation presented to him by the manager of this year's Firearms and Weapons Amnesty Inspector Peter Assfalg showed great cooperation between the two parties.
"To me the important thing is that it establishes to the shooters that we can work with the police," Mr Harrold said.
