Stepfather Charged After 10-yr Old Shoots, Kills Teen in Canada

Charges have been approved in connection with the shooting death of 17-year-old Fernie resident Michael Voth.
Voth was fatally shot by a 10-year-old boy during a gathering at a home in Jaffray, B.C. on June 16.
Police determined that the child found a shotgun in the home, and accidentally fired it at Voth while he held it in his hands.
Voth was killed instantly.
The owner of the gun, 51-year-old George Lewis Phillips, who is the boy's stepfather, has been charged... (GunPolicy.org)
