Charges have been approved in connection with the shooting death of 17-year-old Fernie resident Michael Voth. Voth was fatally shot by a 10-year-old boy during a gathering at a home in Jaffray, B.C. on June 16. Police determined that the child found a shotgun in the home, and accidentally fired it at Voth while he held it in his hands. Voth was killed instantly.
