Fellow Hoosiers sometimes ask me why a three-term Republican mayor from Fort Wayne would want to run the national Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.
The answer is simple: I learned as mayor that we make it way too easy for dangerous and irresponsible people to get guns.
