Australia's Largest City Feels Heat from Just a Few Gun Crime Hot Spots

Gun crime is heavily concentrated in a few areas of Sydney - the Fairfield area has recorded more than 400 incidents in the last six years, compared to just five in Hunters Hill.
A breakdown of official figures shows that gun crime has fallen across Sydney. Nevertheless, the director of the NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research, Don Weatherburn, said it was a concern that so much of it was occurring in only a few areas.
