Megan Reppond was smart, pretty and just 14 when they buried her a couple of weeks ago.
She was shot to death at a slumber party outside Neosho, Mo., two days after Christmas.
Except calling deaths like Megan's an "accident," as authorities have, is to downplay the culpability of the person who left a loaded .38-caliber pistol out — the safety off — where anyone could grab it.
