An Army National Guard soldier from northwestern Pennsylvania will spend two years on probation and must forfeit 11 guns, including an AK-47, that he lied about smuggling into the country after serving in Iraq. James Bindeman, 42, was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty before a federal judge in Erie in June.
