Baby Killed, More Injured by Stray Bullets, Celebratory Gunfire in Philippines

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) disclosed that one infant died and 87 people were hospitalized due to injuries caused by firecrackers and stray bullets.
Philippine Health Secretary Francisco Duque III disclosed that the indiscriminate firing of guns has already claimed the life of an infant who was hit by a stray bullet.
