ZAGREB — A man killed seven people in a shooting spree in a Croatian cafe, prompting the government to announce introduction of a harsh law on possession of firearms.
The 51-year-old man, identified as Anton M., killed seven out of 10 people in the cafe on Tuesday and wounded another with fire from a 7.62mm semi-automatic rifle, Slavonski Brod police chief Marko Ralic said in a statement.
The man apparently blew himself up hours later with explosives.
