Mayor Wants More Guns in Schools

GAHANNA, Ohio — The mayor of the Columbus suburb of Gahanna thinks school administrators should be armed to curb school violence.
Jim McGregor suggests school principals and other administrators should carry guns for quicker intervention in school violence.
He thinks school officials could then keep violent situations under control until police officers arrive.
McGregor outlined his idea in a letter to Gahanna School Superintendent Gregg Morris.
