Rate of Privately Owned Firearms per 100 Population - World Ranking

Definition and Selection Criteria

The world ranking of each jurisdiction by its rate of gun ownership per 100 head of population.

The rate is calculated from the total number of both licit and illicit guns reported to be in private possession, and a matching, cited estimate of population.
