Gun Deaths in Armed Conflict

Definition and Selection Criteria

The reported, or estimated number of deaths by firearm as a direct result of armed conflict.

Such estimates are commonly made in relation to a limited period of armed conflict. Extrapolation to a longer time frame can be problematic.
