Artículo 59. Marcaje de municiones

El órgano de la Fuerza Armada Nacional Bolivariana con competencia en materia de control de armas, determinará la nomenclatura para el marcaje de municiones, debiendo realizarse el mismo al momento de su fabricación.

Cada munición deberá contener el nombre del fabricante, año de fabricación, la nomenclatura asignada al destinatario de la misma por el órgano de la Fuerza Armada Nacional Bolivariana con competencia en materia de control de armas y una numeración correlativa que individualice cada munición.

Act on the Disarmament and Control of Arms and Ammunition

Article 59. Ammunition Marking

The body of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces in charge of arms control shall determine the code for the marking of ammunition, which shall take place at the same time as the manufacture.

All ammunition shall contain the number of the manufacturer, the year of manufacture, the code assigned to the receiver of the latter by the body of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces in charge of arms control, and a correlated numeration that will individualise all ammunition.
