Homicides in England and Wales during 2010/11

At this time 636 deaths were currently recorded on the database as homicides in England and Wales for the period between April 2010 and March 2011.

This is an increase of 28 homicides compared with the 608 currently recorded in 2009/10 (an increase of 5%).

The 636 homicides recorded in 2010/11 include the 12 victims of the Cumbrian shootings which were committed on 2 June 2010.
