1) Medidas adoptadas para marcar debidamente las armas pequeñas y las armas ligeras en poder de las Fuerzas Armadas y de Seguridad para su propio uso.

El Estado de Nicaragua mantiene los mismos inventarios de armas de fuego, al no realizarse transferencia de armas.

Para dar cumplimiento al Arto. 138 de la Ley 510 que refiere; al marcaje e identificación del arma, no se ha implementado en su totalidad por falta de recursos financieros, tecnológicos e Infraestructura.

Es de mencionar que producto de la aplicación de los Artos. 120 al 130 de la Ley 510, contemplados en el capitulo XV que reza de los Delitos y Penas, hemos decomisado, en el período, un total de 1,809 armas de fuego.

Marking of Small Arms and Light Weapons

1) Measures taken to properly mark small arms and light weapons held by the Security and Armed forces, for their own use.

The State of Nicaragua maintains the same firearm inventory, because it does not carry out the transfer of weapons.

To comply with Articles 138 of Law 510 that is concerned with the marking and identification of weapons; this has not been fully implemented due to a lack of financial, technological and infrastructural resources.

It is worth mentioning that as a result of the implementation of Articles 120 to 130 of Law 510, which refers to Crime and Punishment in chapter XV, in this period we have seized a total of 1,809 firearms.
