Carrying Arms in a Public Place
30. (1) A person (including a licensed or exempted person) who, without lawful excuse, carries in a public place:
(a) any loaded shot gun or loaded air weapon; or
(b) any other arms (whether loaded or not) together with ammunition suitable for use in that arms,
commits an offence.
(2) For the purposes of this section, a shot gun or an air weapon is deemed to be loaded if there is ammunition in the chamber or barrel or in any magazine or other device which is in such a position that the ammunition can be fed into the chamber or barrel by the manual or automatic operation of some part of the gun or weapon.
