Marking, Record Keeping and Tracing
- How does this marking otherwise allow concerned authorities to identify and trace the relevant weapons?
The marking must include information on:
Country of production, type of weapon, cal of weapon, production year, unique identification number, CIP mark.
- How long are records kept on the manufacture, holding and transfer of SALW under your jurisdiction?
- What national measures exist for tracing SALW held and issued by the State?
