Two Million Firearms Inherited
After the United States withdrew from Indochina in 1975, Vietnam and Cambodia inherited some 2 million firearms and 150,000 metric tons of ammunition.
Even after a government crackdown, between 500,000 and 1 million military arms remain in Cambodia alone.
