Le ministre de l'intérieur ou le préfet, en ce qui concerne la circulation des munitions et des éléments de munition à l'intérieur du territoire national, et le ministre chargé des douanes, en ce qui concerne le transfert de munitions et des éléments de munition en provenance ou à destination d'un autre Etat membre, peuvent, en cas de menaces graves ou d'atteintes à l'ordre public en raison de la détention ou de l'emploi illicites de munitions et d'éléments de munition, prendre toutes mesures nécessaires pour prévenir cette détention ou cet emploi illicites.

Article 137

The Minister of the Interior or the Prefect, with respect to the movement of ammunition and their components within the national territory, and the Minister in charge of Customs, with respect to the transfer of ammunition and their components coming from or going to another Member State, may, in case of serious threats or public order offences due to illicit possession or use of ammunition and their components, take all necessary measures to prevent this illicit possession or use.
