Court Strikes Down Statute Blocking Gun Industry Lawsuits

DETROIT — A Wayne County Circuit Court judge ruled Friday that a state statute blocking lawsuits filed by Wayne County and Detroit against the gun industry is unconstitutional. Judge Jeanne Stempien's ruling allows the two pending lawsuits to proceed.
