Conference Will Consider Gun Violence as Health Issue

For Joyce Bullock, firearm violence is more than an abstract argument.
Her son, 18-year-old William, died last month from a shooting that began with a dispute at a Westside restaurant parking lot.
"You see it (the firearms debate) on TV, but you don't think it's going to happen to you," Bullock said. "You don't think like that.
"It happens, though. I'm just coping with it, dealing with it."
