Gun Runners Pose 'Major Security Concern' in Fragile Papua New Guinea

The police commander of Papua New Guinea's Western Province says high-powered weapons are regularly being smuggled into the country from the Torres Strait in exchange for drugs.
Commander Peter Philip says not enough is being done to prevent the illegal trade in arms ranging from high-powered, semi-automatic weapons to small arms and shot-guns.
