Gun Lobby Trying to Shoot Down Trigger-lock Law

Gun-control opponents like to argue that if authorities just enforced laws that are already on the books, that would go a long way toward addressing gun violence in this country.
One law on the books, however, won't be enforced if the U.S. Senate goes along with the House and takes away the funding needed for it. It's the law requiring that gun dealers and manufacturers include trigger locks with the handguns they sell.
