Manitoba Says Gun Amnesty a Success

WINNIPEG — The Manitoba government says 315 guns were surrendered during a firearms amnesty in the province last month.
The province says final numbers indicate more than 200 rifles were turned in, along with 66 shotguns and 36 handguns.
Two prohibited weapons were also part of the haul.
Attorney General Gord Mackintosh says Manitobans made excellent use of the amnesty to ensure that their unwanted guns will not be stolen and fall into the hands of criminals.... (GunPolicy.org)
