Assault Weapons Seized from Biker Gangs

Deadly weapons — including assault rifles and a heavy machinegun — have been seized from bikie gangs.
The haul includes a modified variant of the AK-47 assault rifle, which is being used to attack coalition soldiers daily in Iraq.
The semi-automatic assault rifle, with a detachable 30-round magazine, was among a stockpile of 247 firearms police bikie taskforce Avatar has seized from bikie gangs since March 2001.
