Minister Rejects Gun Law Retreat

Controversial changes to Victoria's gun laws are likely to be passed by Parliament before May.
The Police Minister, Mr Bill McGrath, yesterday said he saw no reason to delay the changes until the Australian Police Ministers Council meeting in June, and insisted they did not breach the national firearms agreement.
