Limit on Quantity, Type of Ammunition
Definition and Selection Criteria

The type, or maximum quantity of ammunition allowed per licence or permit holder, or purchased at any one time, or within a stipulated period.

Includes ‘calibre-specific’ ammunition controls, by which a licensed dealer is only permitted to sell ammunition of a type and calibre specified on a valid firearm licence or permit to procure presented by the purchaser.
