Artículo 85. Requisitos para Almacenes
Los almacenes, cuartos de armamento o locales habilitados con el fin de almacenar armas de fuego y municiones, las armerías y salas de exposición para estas, cumplen según corresponda, las exigencias siguientes:
a) Las paredes y techos de los locales deben ser de mampostería.
b) Las puertas, ventanas o cualquier otro acceso deben estar protegidos con rejas.
c) Estar dotados de medios de extinción de incendio.
d) Las áreas deben estar cercadas o delimitadas convenientemente, señalizando el nivel de acceso autorizado.
e) Estar dotado de sistemas técnicos de seguridad y protección.
f) No almacenar en su interior medios inflamables o de fácil combustión.
g) La instalación eléctrica debe estar protegida y en perfecto estado técnico.
h) Estar bajo la protección permanente del personal de seguridad.
i) Las armas de fuego se mantendrán en armeros o cajas cerradas. En el caso de las armerías, polígonos y campos de tiro, se mantendrán en bóvedas protegidas, y en las salas de exhibición, las armas de fuego y las municiones deben estar fijadas y protegidas convenientemente en las vitrinas.
Las municiones se almacenan separadas de las armas de fuego.

Article 85. Requirements for Storage Premises
Warehouses, armouries or premises intended for the storage of firearms and ammunition, gun shops and exhibition rooms must comply with the following provisions:
a) The walls and roofs of the premises must be in concrete.
b) The doors, windows or any other access must be protected with bars.
c) [The premises] must be provided with means to extinguish fires.
d) Areas must be suitably closed or limited, specifying the level of authorised access.
e) [The premises] must be provided with technical security and protection systems.
f) [The premises] must not contain flammable or easily combustible materials.
g) The electrical facilities must be protected and in a perfect technical state.
h) [The premises] must be under permanent surveillance by security personnel.
i) Firearms must be kept in armoured racks or closed boxes. As for gun-shops, shooting rings and shooting ranges, they must be stored inside protected vaults; as for exhibition rooms, firearms and ammunition must be stored and protected behind glass cases.
The ammunition must be stored separately from the firearms.
