Artículo 65. Mantenimiento de un registro para los comerciantes de armas de fuego
Los Jefes máximos de las entidades comercializadoras, mantienen un control riguroso de las ventas de armas de fuego, accesorios y municiones, mediante la habilitación de libros de registros de ventas debidamente foliados, lacrados, acuñados y aprobados por el Ministerio del Interior.
En estos se consigna:
a) La entrada y existencia de armas de fuego, municiones y accesorios, fecha y hora.
b) Cantidad de armas de fuego, municiones y accesorios vendidos, por tipo, marca, calibre y número de serie, según corresponda.
c) Nombres y apellidos del comprador, número de licencia o permiso, domicilio de este, ya sea persona natural o jurídica, así como la fecha y hora de la compra.
d) Nombres y apellidos del vendedor.
Además, los Jefes máximos de esas entidades, conservan un ejemplar de la factura de cada venta, firmada personalmente por el comprador y el vendedor, expresando en esta, la fecha, día y hora de la venta, tipo, calibre, marca y número de serie de fabricación del arma de fuego.
En relación con la información descrita en el presente artículo, se creará un registro digital paralelo al aquí previsto.

Article 65. Gun Dealer Record Keeping
The heads of commercial entities shall maintain rigorous control of firearm transactions, as well as those of their accessories and ammunition, by keeping sales registers approved, signed and sealed by the Ministry of the Interior.
The following data shall be kept in these registers:
a) The entry and existence of firearms, ammunition and accessories, date and hour.
b) Quantity of sold firearms, ammunition and accessories by type, brand, calibre and serial number, as appropriate.
c) Names and surnames of the buyer, licence or permit number, place of residence, whether he is an individual or legal person, as well as the date and hour of the purchase.
d) Names and surnames of the seller.
Further, the heads of these companies shall save a copy of the receipt of each sale, personally signed by the buyer and the seller, which mentions the date, day and hour of the sale; the type, calibre, brand and serial number of manufacture of the firearm.
Regarding the information described in this Article, a digital record parallel to [the documentation] herein shall be created.
