Cuando el titular de un permiso, para tenencia o para porte requiera efectuar la cesión de su uso, deberá hacer la correspondiente solicitud a la autoridad militar competente, la cual podrá autorizarla si el cesionario reúne los requisitos de que trata el presente Decreto.

Article 44. Request for the Transfer of the Use of Firearms

When the bearer of a permit for the ownership or carrying of firearms wishes to stop using it, he shall submit the relevant request to the competent military authority, which may authorise it if the applicant complies with requirements referred to in the present Decree.
