Artículo 22. Permiso para Tenencia

Es aquel que autoriza a su titular para mantener el arma en el inmueble declarado, correspondiente a su residencia, a su sitio de trabajo o al lugar que se pretende proteger.

Sólo podrá autorizarse la expedición hasta de dos (2) permisos para tenencia por persona.

El permiso de tenencia tendrá una vigencia máxima de diez (10) años.

Parágrafo. Para la expedición de permisos de tenencia a los coleccionistas deberá presentarse la credencial de coleccionista de acuerdo con lo previsto en este Decreto; para la expedición de permiso de tenencia para deportistas, deberá acreditarse la afiliación a un club de tiro y caza afiliado a la Federación Colombiana de Tiro.

Article 22. Ownership Permit

An ownership permit is the permit that authorises its bearer to keep the firearm in the registered property, which corresponds to his residence, to his working place or the site requiring protection.

Only two (2) ownership permits per person shall be authorised.

The ownership permit shall be valid for up to ten (10) years.

Paragraph. The issuance of ownership permits to collectors is subject to providing credentials for collectors in accordance with what is established in this Decree; the issuance of the ownership permit to collectors is subject to their membership in a shooting or hunting club affiliated to the Colombian Shooting Federation.
