Artículo 58. Prohibiciones
Además de todas las prohibiciones señaladas en la Ley, se prohíbe a las personas naturales o jurídicas, la fabricación, importación, exportación, comercio, tenencia o portación de…
b) Miras de visión nocturna, miras telescópicas que no sean de cacería o deportivas, miras láser de uso militar, (relación con art. 35) silenciadores y en general cualquier artefacto, dispositivo o accesorio que reduzca la detonación del disparo de armas de fuego, así como de los que lancen granadas de cualquier tipo como la munición empleada para su propulsión;
c) Mecanismos de conversión de armas de fuego o funcionamiento automático;
d) Artificios para disparar el arma en forma oculta, como maletines, estuches, lapiceros y libros y otros subterfugios…
f) Armas de fuego de fabricación artesanal de cualquier tipo o calibre;
g) Armas de guerra;1…
i) Fusiles y carabinas que según la Tabla de Organización y Equipo, (TOE) posea la Fuerza Armada o la Policía Nacional Civil. Se exceptúan de esta prohibición aquellas armas que hubiesen sido registradas en el Ministerio de la Defensa Nacional con anterioridad a la vigencia de esta Ley y los casos establecidos en el Artículo 72.

b) Night observation devices, telescopic sights which are neither for hunting nor for sports purposes, laser sights for military use (in relation with art. 35), silencers and in general whatever device or accessory geared for the reduction of the firearm detonation, as well as weapons designed to launch grenades of any type and the ammunition used for their launch;
c) Mechanisms for the conversion of firearms into automatic weapons;
d) Devices to hide firearms when shooting, such as briefcases, cases, pens, books and other subterfuges…
f) Hand-made firearms of any type or calibre;
g) Weapons of war;1…
i) Rifles and carbines which, according to the Table of Organisation and Equipment (TOE), are to be owned by the Armed Forces or the Civil National Police. Firearms registered by the Ministry of National Defence prior to the implementation of this Act, and under circumstances provided by article 72, are exempt from this prohibition.
