Artículo 4. Tipos de Matrículas
Para los efectos de la presente Ley se establecen tres tipos de Matrículas para armas de fuego:
a) MATRÍCULAS PARA TENENCIA Y CONDUCCIÓN: Inscripción de un arma de las permitidas por la presente Ley, en el Registro de Armas, mediante el cual una persona natural o jurídica pueda ejercer posesión de la misma, y que faculta a tenerla aprovisionada, cargada y lista para el uso, dentro de los límites de su propiedad urbana o rural, casa de habitación, negocio, oficina o dependencia, y por conducción el transporte de ésta debidamente descargada y desaprovisionada;
b) MATRÍCULA PARA PORTACIÓN: Inscripción de un arma de las permitidas por la presente Ley, en el Registro de Armas mediante el cual una persona natural pueda ejercer posesión de la misma, y que faculta a llevarla consigo, aprovisionada, cargada y lista para su uso, salvo en aquellos lugares prohibidos por esta Ley;
c) MATRÍCULA PARA COLECCIÓN: Inscripción de un arma de las permitidas por la presente Ley, en el registro respectivo, mediante el cual una persona natural o jurídica pueda ejercer posesión de la misma, y que faculta la tenencia para fines de exhibición, de armas de guerra1 previamente inutilizadas2 y armas antiguas; obsoletas o de valor histórico…

Act No. 655 of 1999 on the Control and Regulation of Arms, Ammunition, Explosives and Related Materials
Article 4. Types of Registration Certificates
Under this present Act, there are three types of firearm registration certificates:
a) Registration certificate for ownership and handling: Registration of one of the firearms authorised under this Act in the Register of Firearms, which allows an individual or legal person to possess it and to keep it charged and ready to be used, within the premises of an urban or rural property, house, shop, office or dependence, and to transport it duly unloaded.
b) Registration certificate for carrying: Registration of one of the firearms authorised under this Act in the Register of Firearms, which allows an individual to possess and carry it, loaded and ready to be used, except in places prohibited by this Act;
c) Registration certificate for collection: Registration of one of the firearms authorised under this Act in its respective register, which allows an individual or legal person to possess it, and allows its possession for exhibition purposes, weapons of war1 previously deactivated2 and antique, obsolete or historical firearms…
